Dodgertown survives hurricane--Hurricane Frances hit Dodgertown, the team's spring training complex in Vero Beach, on Saturday, ripping down the scoreboard and leaving Holman Stadium flooded.

The rest of the facility, including the new 30,000-square foot cinder block building that houses a clubhouse, weight room, a kitchen and offices, survived the storm, Dodgers spokesman Josh Rawitch said.

Although power lines were down and cell phones weren't working consistently, Rawitch managed to reach Craig Callan, the vice president of spring training and minor league facilities. Callan reported everyone was fine.

Dodger Minor League Editor Bill Shelley is still without electricity and is unable to communicate with the outside world.
