Robinson was chosen in the 11th round of the 2005 draft for one reason -- to hopefully juice up the speed factor which has been lacking in the system on the whole.

Although, he's still rudimentary on the base paths, stealing six of 10, he's an undeniable jetster, winning the 40-yeard dash in the Instructional League camp.

But he also surprised a lot of people with his power with seven doubles, two triples and three home runs in the Gulf Coast, then adding another homer following a late-season promotion to Ogden. After a slow start in the Gulf Coast, he wound up with a .296 mark.

Coaches have been doing the natural thing, teaching him to hit down on the ball to take advantage of his swiftness. If he keeps jolting it the way he has, though, they may revise their thinking.

In 2006, Ogden would seem to be the next logical stop for him since he's still very young and raw.
