Figgins stole second on the next pitch, but Billingsley retired Juan Rivera on a bases-loaded grounder. The Angels loaded the bases again in the ninth, but Takashi Saito retired Brian Specht on a groundout.
The Dodgers' six pitchers -- Billingsley, Jae Seo, Yhency Brazoban, Tim Hamulak, Takashi Saito and Joe Beimel allowed eight hits and stranded 10 base runners. Five Angels pitchers held the Dodgers to just five hits.

In the Freeway Series finale Sunday in Anaheim, Brett Tomko starts for the Dodgers against Ervin Santana with first pitch at 12:05 p.m. PT.
Most of the action Saturday night was off the field.
The Dodgers optioned infielder Oscar Robles and catcher Russell Martin to Las Vegas. Robles, a key player on last year's team and a valuable utility infielder, was an especially tough cut considering the contributions he made last year. But the Dodgers decided to keep utility infielder Ramon Martinez instead.
Outfielder Jayson Werth, still recovering from surgery on his left wrist in November, for the second straight year will start the season on the DL.
Kenny Lofton on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained left calf muscle. Lofton suffered the injury Thursday during pregame warmups in Las Vegas. He will miss at least the first 10 games of the season, including the team's first trip to potential cold-weather cities Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Lofton's absence allows both Cody Ross and Jason Repko to make the season-opening roster. Repko will start in center field on opening day, Little said.
Right-hander Aaron Sele, who spent three seasons with the Angels and won a World Series ring with them in 2002, told the Dodgers on Saturday that he will accept an assignment to Triple-A Las Vegas. The team actually made the move on Wednesday, but gave Sele a few days to mull over his decision with his family.
Gonzalez returns-- The Seattle Mariners returned Rule 5 selection Luis Gonzalez to the Dodgers Friday. Gonzalez, 23, was drafted from the Dodgers by the Colorado Rockies, who sold him to the Mariners. As a Rule 5 pick, he had to remain with the Mariners the entire 2006 season or be offered back to the Dodgers for half of his original $50,000 selection price.
Gonzalez was 0-1 with an 8.18 ERA (10 earned runs in 11 innings) this spring. Last year, he was 7-2 with a 2.21 ERA at Double-A Jacksonville, then 0-1 with a 9.31 ERA at Triple-A Las Vegas. He was the Dodgers' 11th-round pick in the 2001 First-Year Player Draft after playing outfield in high school. He will likely pitch out of the bullpen at Las Vegas in 2006.
Left-handed pitcher Mike Megrew, also lost by the Dodgers in the Rule 5 draft to the Florida Marlins, was placed on the 15-day disabled list and will remain with the Marlins for the time being. Megrew pitched only nine innings last year while recuperating from Tommy John elbow reconstruction.
