Nall, Robinson - Pitcher, Player of Week

Each week LAdugout.com salutes a player and pitcher from the Dodger organization for outstanding achievement. The players are selected from Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Vero Beach, Columbus, and now Ogden and the Gulf Coast Dodgers.

Trayvon Robinson, of, Gulf Coast Dodgers. In his second season in the league but his first as a switch-hitter, Robinson got off to a rousing start, batting .429 (six for 14). He included two doubles, two triples and a walk-off home run that propelled the Dodgers into a first-place tie. He totalled 13 bases and drove in six runs in his assault.

T. J. Nall, rhp, Jacksonville. The veteran pitcher is in his eighth season in the organization and is enjoying his finest one yet. This past week, he started two games and didn't allow a run in either. On June 16, he threw seven scoreless, scattering four hits, walking only one and striking out 10 as the Suns edged Montgomery 1-0. On June 24, he surpassed that, yielding but one hit over seven shutout innings, again striking out 19 and not walking a man in a 10-0 rout of Carolina. . Since joining Jacksonville, he's 6-2, 2.59 with 82 strikeouts in 66 innings.
