Readers Poll: Which CF Would You Target?

Here is another chance to play General Manager. You are being asked to choose which center fielder you would be interested in acquiring by free agency: Minnesota's Torii Hunter, Atlanta's Andruw Jones or Philadelphia's Aaron Rowand.

Each of them are in their 30s, each will command a 5-6 year contract for $12-15 million per year ... perhaps more. But since fans have never been adverse to spending Frank's money, you are asked to decide with the good of the club in mind.

All three of them showed remarkable power and the ability to score and drive in runs. Jones had an off year after slugging 92 homers over the two previous seasons and knocking in 257 runs. Or then again, is he in a decline that might continue?

Of course, there is our own Matt Kemp, comparatively a mere child at 23, who will cost the club about $350,000 for the coming season.

Make your decision and tell us why. We will use selected comments in a future article. -- Tot4@mac.com
