Happy Thanksgiving from LADugout.com

Beginning today through Sunday, premium content is complimentary at LADugout.com. You can check out all our past and current player feature stories, hot news, and the entire Scout Player Database, and there's absolutely no cost to you.

You will have access to the entire site (with the exception of premium message boards, audio and video) as well as the entire Scout.com Network. We have been the Dodgers and their minor leaguers statistics in some depth recently as well as the awards just made: Most Valuable Player, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, Silver Sluggers and Gold Glovers.

We will continued the special features, such as pitcher's run support, range factors, minor league runs created and more, right up until the Dodgers open spring training.

You can now read the stories free as well as the archive of older stories we have used in the past weeks.

Some of them were by subscription only but through Sunday no credit card is required. Some areas may require you to register, but it's fast, easy, and costs you nothing!

Hunter Signs With Angels-- Outfielder Torii Hunter reached a preliminary agreement with the Angels on a five-year, $90 million contract. That knocks him out of the "Play General Manager" contest we posted just a day earlier and left only Andruw Jones of Atlanta and Aaron Rowand of Philadelphia -- or Matt Kemp if you prefer -- for voters to submit their opinions on.

The agreement is pending the obligatory physical and will give Anaheim a 32-year-old hitter the Angels sought to protect Valdimir Guerrero on the order.

Roster Changes-- In preparation for December's Rule 5 draft, which we will cover in depth, the Dodgers added RHP James McDonald, OF Xavier Paul, RHP Ramon Troncoso, RHP Justin Orenduff, RHP Cory Wade, RHP Mario Alvarez and C Lucas May, to the roster and removed LHP Mike Megrew after a disappointing Double-A season.

Player Moves-- In moves concerning former Dodger minor league players, Kansas City designated 1b Craig Brazell for assignment and Texas did the same for of Victor Diaz.
