Merry Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa

While it is true that Major League teams are always open for business, things slow down in the final week before the new year and with everyone taking a break on December 25, wants to wish you and yours a happy holiday season. We won't be open for business tomorrow unless, of course, the Dodgers trade Wilson Valdez to the Orioles for Erik Bedard, both quite unlikely scenarios.

Tot, Bill and Ray would like to wish you and yours the very best of the holiday season and for the new year. And if you over-eat, don't say we didn't warn you.

During the past year we have attempted to provide you, our valued subscribers, the most complete Dodger news available, including rumors, obituaries, player movement of former Dodger major and minor league players and have given you our opinions on a wide variety of items.

During the actual season, we provided game stories of 162 Dodger games, some 560 full-season minor league games, 240 short season games plus 30 spring training games (over 800 in all) along with box scores and periodic statistics.

All told, more than 1,500 stories, features and photos have been provided for your entertainment and information which comes out less than a dime each if you are subscribed monthly ($7.95) and even less that that if you pop for the entire year ($80) at one time.

The full-year subscribers will again receive our 2008 Prospect Guide, at the printers as we speak, the second-annual publication with a complete report on the best and brightest minor league players for each of the 30 major league teams -- including the top 20 prospects.

We are eager to provide you with the information you are looking for, in the form you desire. Please let us know your feelings on what we provide and what we don't provide that you would like, we welcome your comments. click here to tell us about it.

After the one-day break, we will be back in action on December 26th and will feature, among many other things, the Major and Minor League individual pitcher Run Scores that spotlight the best pitching performances of the 2007 season. Until then, stay tuned.
