Raptors' 16 Hits Top Idaho Falls 13-3

Travis Vetters and Pedro Baez each had a pair of doubles and a single as Ogden battered Idaho Falls 13-3. The GC Dodgers whitewashed the Mets 3-0 behind the pitching of Edwin Conteras 3-0 in a rain-shortened game. The DSL Dodgers were not scheduled.

Ogden Makes it Two in a Row
For the first time in this young season Ogden won two in a row, banging out 16 hits to dump Idaho Falls 13-3. Reliever Javier Solano earned his first game of the season, working three scoreless innings and allowing a single hit.

The thunderous Raptor attack took a bit to get in gear and trailed 2-1 after three but then they scored seven unanswered runs and polished things off with a five-run ninth. They numbered seven extra base hits among the 16 they recorded.

Pedro Baez and Travis Vetters led the attack with two doubles and a single and Gabe Casanova added a double and two singles. Brian Ruggiano knocked in four runs, including a three-run homer, his first of the season.

Robert Boothe started for Ogden and surrendered a pair of runs, one earned, and three hits over three innings. Jordan Roberts added two innings and Luis Vasquez finished the game up with a scoreless ninth.
