GCL Dodgers Lose Again
The Gulf Coast Dodgers couldn't hold onto a 2-1 lead, allowing the Cardinals to slip away with a 4-2 win.

Lyndon Poole collected the first Dodgers hit in the fifth inning and Johancy Guzman singled in the eighth for the second, and final Dodgers hit of the game.

The first nine Dodgers went out in order before the Coasties scored twice in the fourth without a hit. Guzman walked and moved to second on a wild pitch. Johan Garcia walked and a throwing error on an attempted pickoff allowed Guzman to score.

A second wild pitch made it 2-1 before Albie Goulder walked and Adrick Villablobos was hit by a pitch but a double play ended the inning.

A pair of errors in the ninth gave the Dodgers another chance but they could not cash in on it.

Roberto Fructuoso allowed one run over his five innings but received nothing but a no decision. Jimmy Rohan (0-1) surrendered three runs and took the loss.

A pair of Dodgers were hit by a pitch in the game, Rohan hit two in the sixth and one in the seventh.
