Ramirez to Draw a Full House in Albuquerque

All-star breaks and an open date cut the schedule. Chattanooga started the second half by wasting Travis Chick's fine effort and losing 2-1 to Huntsville. the Dominican Dodgers lost 6-4 to the Cubs2. On the bright side, Albuquerque will have a full house tonight to watch Manny Ramirez's first rehab game and Dee Gordon won won the Skills Contest at the Midwest League All-Star festivities.

Albuquerque --open date. Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets to see the first game of a scheduled rehabilitation appearance of Manny Ramirez, berm seating for the Isotopes' game tomorrow against the Nashville Sounds will go on sale at noon exclusively at the Isotopes Park Box Office.

To additionally meet the increasing frenzy for tickets, the Box Office will remain open tonight until 6:00 PM. Tickets to games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are still available. The Isotopes are encouraging fans planning on attending any of the games this series to arrive at Isotopes Park early as there is no guarantee how long Ramirez will play each game.

To accommodate the rush of fans on Tuesday, gates will hope at 5:30 PM. Tickets for any Isotopes game may be purchased at the Isotopes Park Box Office, at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or on-line at www.albuquerquebaseball.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

Lookouts Edged 2-1 in Alabama
Chattanooga received quality pitching from starter Travis Chick and Francisco Felix. The pair limited Huntsville to a pair of runs but their efforts weren't enough as the Stars earned a 2-1 win.

Chick blanked the Stars through the fourth but the Stars scored twice in the fifth on a hit by pitch, a stolen base, a single, another stolen base and a second single. He fell to 5-3 after allowing seven hits, walking one and fanning six. Francisco Felix allowed two hits and two walks over the final two innings but didn't allow a run.

The Lookouts had a number of chances during the game but finished 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position and slipped to to 0-1 in the second half and 30-40 overall

Chattanooga collected nine hits but their lone run came in the second inning on a two-out solo home run by Tommy Giles, his third of the season. Giles and James Tomlin collected two each of the nine Lookouts hits.

Tomlin and Eduardo Perez singled in the first inning; Chick and Tomlin singled in the sixth, putting runners at first and third with none out but a strikeout and a double play ended the inning. Josh Bell doubled to lead off the seventh but a pair of strikeouts and Gabe Gutierrez's line shot at the second baseman killed that promising start.

Andrew Lambo singled with one out in the ninth inning to give the Lookouts one more chance and an error put runners at first and second before another double play, the third of the evening, ended the inning and the game. The series continues night with right-hander Josh Lindblom facing Huntsville's right-hander Donovan Hand.

Inland Empire-- All-Star break. The California-Carolina League All-Star Home Run Derby will be held prior to the game, with some of the best power hitters from both leagues swinging for the fences in a three-round battle. The 66ers will be represented by outfielder Trayvon Robinson and pitchers, Alberto Bastardo and Tim Sexton.

Great Lakes-- All-Star break. Great Lakes shortstop Dee Gordon, who is batting .308 with a homer and 18 RBIs, won the Skills Contest with a pair of three-point bunts in the sudden-death round. Gordon, the Dodgers' fourth-round pick in 2008, scored 19 points on throws from his position and winning a four-way bunt battle.

The Loons' starters tonight will be Tony Delmonico (catcher), Dee Gordon (shortstop), Jaime Pedroza (second base) and Kyle Russell (outfield). The three pitchers are right-handers Javy Guerra, Jon Michael Redding and Josh Walter.

Dominican Dodgers Lose 6-4
The Dodgers fell behind 4-0 after four innings and battled back but couldn't overcome the early deficit and lost 6-4 to the Cubs2.

Luis Rosano (2-1) stated ad worked only two innings, allowing a single hit but it was a solo home run that tagged him with his first loss of the season. Daniel Tamares, Moises Tamarez and Joel Lima allowed the final five runs but only three of them were earned.

The Dodgers scored three times in the fifth inning when Ronny Lugo singled in a run before Bladimir Franco singled with two out and a throwing error allowed two more runs. Their final run came without a hit in the eighth inning when Joel Ramirez and Abdul Nieto walked and an error on a sac bunt by Edward Bens allowed Ramirez to score.

Lugo walked and Enlly Moralez singled and an error on Franco's bunt loaded the base in the ninth. However, a force out at the plate and a pair of popups ended the game.
