Raptors Blast Away Ghosts
Ogden slugged three more home runs, accounting for six runs, in an 11-4 win over Casper. It was the Raptors fifth win in the last six games and moved them to within one game of division-leading Idaho Falls.

Jeremy Wise opened the long-ball attack with a solo shot in the third inning, his third of the year. Brian Jacobs hit his second home run in the eighth and Jerry Sands whacked his 10th with two on in the same inning, takings sole possession of first place in the Pioneer League home run race.

It was Ogden's 42nd home run of the season and puts them 12 long balls in front of second place Missoula who has 30. Ogden has an OPS of .854.

There was plenty of fireworks in between, also. Brian Cavazos-Galvez added a pair of doubles and two singles and Jacobs also chipped in with a two-bagger.

Matt Magill (2-1) appreciated all the support and he allowed only three hits and three runs, two of them earned, while striking out eight in his five innings on the mound.

Greg Wilborn added two scoreless innings and Luis Ferreras one before Daigoro Rondon allowed the final Casper run in the ninth.

The game was a close one until the bottom of the fifth when Jacobs was hit by a pitch and Briant Hernandez lived on a lived on a throwing error that allowed Jacobs to score and break a 3-3 tie.

The Raptors went on to score eight unanswered runs and put the game on the 'W' side of the ledger.
