Ogden (L) , DSL Dodgers (W) in Short Schedule

Ogden scored in the last of the ninth and had runners on first and third but couldn't get either of them in, losing a 4-3 decision to Missoula. The Dominican Dodgers dumped the Orioles/Brewers 6-1 in their final regular season game. The Arizona Dodgers were tied 1-1 when the game was suspended by rain.

Ogden Drops 5-4 Decision to Missoula
Missoula used a ninth inning home run and strong relief pitching to break a five-game losing streak and top Ogden 4-3.

Brett Wallach started for Ogden and pitched three innings, giving up three hits and a run. Antonio Castillo (4-3) took took the loss after allowing two run, one earned on a home run, over the next three. Nick Gaudi allowed a ninth inning home run that put the Osprey one one too far for the Raptors to overcome.

Ogden led 1-0 after one inning on Brian Ruggiano's leadoff home run, his seventh of the season. Missoula built a 3-1 lead before the Raptors got on the board again in the last of the seventh when Clay Calfee whacked a second solo home run.

Missoula led 4-2 in the bottom of the ninth. Gorman Erickson singled to open the inning and Calfee's single sent him to third with one out. Pinch-hitter Jeremy Wise batted for Kyle Orr and bounced into a force at second, with Erickson scoring.

Bryant Hernandez lined out to center field to end the game. The Raptors are now 3-2 on their seven-game home-stand.

The Raptors and Osprey continue their series Saturday evening, as Allen Webster makes his debut on the mound for Ogden against lefty Mike Belfiore for Missoula.

DSL Dodgers Win Final Game
The Dominican Dodgers pasted the Orioles/Brewers cooperative team 6-1 in the final game of the regular season. José Mateo (1-2) won his first game in relief of starter Arismendy Ozoria who worked two innings and allowed only an unearned run in his two innings.

Out-hit 7-5, the Dodgers took advantage of an amazing 16 walks, two hit-batsmen and an error. The did scored six times but left 14 on base and were 4-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Charlie Mirabal had a pair of singles and two runs batted in. Faustino Oguisten and Bladimir Franco also had two RBI each. Ronny Lugo, José Capellan and Carlos Mercedes scored two runs.

The Dodgers finished ninth in the 12-team Boca Chica North Division with a 30-40 record and 21.5 games behind the winning Giants.
