Ramirez Put His Stamp on 2008 NLCS

The Dodgers dropped the 2008 National League Championship Series four games to one but Manny Ramirez continued his torrid hitting, earning the top slot on the all-time Dodgers NLCS lists in average (.533), on-base percentage ( .682) and on-base plus slugging 1.749.

James Loney also had an exceptional series, flying under the radar blip that spotlighted Ramirez and his big bat.

Loney earned third place on the batting average list with a .438 mark, and was four in on-base percentage (.526), eighth in on-base plus slugging (1.089), tied for fifth in hits (7) and fourth in doubles (2).

Rafael Furcal scored five times to move into a tie with Bill Madlock (1983) and Blake DeWitt managed only a triple, which tied him with nine others, but knocked in five runs, good for fifth place on the charts.
