However, he did have some issues with his command, throwing only 49 of his 83 pitches for strikes. On a positive note, however, he reported no issues with his back.
The Giants had him slated to make one more rehab start before potentially returning to the team in the middle of April. Vogelsong made that start Tuesday night -- and he looked like he was ready to return to the big leagues.

In his second outing, Vogelsong was much better with his control, throwing 60 of 93 pitches for strikes.
Vogelsong was placed on the 15-day disabled list March 30, retroactive to March 27, making him eligible to rejoin the team at any time. Because of off days, the Giants don't have a need for a fifth starter until April 15.
