Navigators 2 11 0

The Navigators took a loss in the penultimate game of the series against the Trenton Tornados 7-2. Noah Lowry got rocked early in the game, lasting only a little more than two innings and earning 6 runs to his ERA. Despite great outings by third baseman Carlos Mendoza, who homered to score the Navigators only two runs, and shortstop Jamie Athas, who went 3-4 on the night and was scored on the Mendoza shot, the Navigators stranded 11 on base.

Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (A)

S-K Volcanoes 7 10 0
Boise Hawks 6 8 1

The Kaizer-Salem Volcanoes round out their trip to Idaho with another win against the Boise Hawks, winning 7-6. Tim Alverez came to replace Mike Musgrave after only three innings and pitched four of masterful baseball, beating Rick Hill and losing pitcher Aneury Guerrero. The Hawks lead after the third 0-3, but the Volcanoes came back in the 4th and 5th to get within one, 4-5. In the eighth, the Volcanoes went ahead 7-5 and stayed there to take the series against Boise, thanks to great nights had by Aaron Hornostaj (2-3, 2B), Derek Barrows (2R, HR), Travis Ishikawa (2-5) and MIke Wagner (2-5).
