The San Francisco Giants Sign Free Agent Starter Johnny Cueto

The Giants have signed another starting pitcher, their second of the week, adding Johnny Cueto to their starting rotation.

The San Francisco Giants have added another pitcher to their rotation after signing Johnny Cueto to a six year deal today. The deal, which includes a seventh year option for the Giants and an opt out for Cueto after two years, is worth $130 million.

There have been concerns over the health of Cueto's elbow since 2013 but his most recent MRI shows no signs of structural damage.

The Giants rotation now looks to be Bumgarner, Cueto, Samardzija, Peavy, and Cain with Heston saved for long relief stints off the bench.
