Game Notes:
Noah Lowry made his debut with the Fresno Grizzlies. The 22-year-old pitched seven scoreless innings, until the eighth. He gave up five hits and two earned runs, walking three and striking out three. He retired 14 consecutive batters. Unfortunately, he got a no-decision.

Team Notes:
Tony Torcato has been recalled to the San Francisco Giants to fill in Barry Bonds' spot on the roster. Bonds is on bereavement leave as his father is seriously ill. Torcatos has a batting average of .297 with two homeruns and 41 RBIs with Fresno. Right-handed pitcher Boof Bonser will be joining the Fresno Grizzlies from Norwich. Bonser is 7-10 with a 4.00 ERA.

21-year old, Josh Sawyer, the marketing assistant with the Norwich Navigators, was killed in a car accident on Wednesday night. Our condolences go out to the Norwich Navigators staff and Sawyer's family and friends.

Vancouver finished a three-game sweep of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. The Volcanoes had their chances to avoid the sweep, but couldn't make the most out of them. With a lead in the bottom of the ninth, closer Ryan Sadowski couldn't close the game.
