Colorado Rockies: 8/26-8/28 Series

Coors Field. You don't want to go back, I don't want to go back, and you can bet the Giants don't want to go back either. The good news is that the Giants are countering with three of their best starting pitchers... Take THAT, Denver!

OVERALL PREDICTION: TIED
The Giants don't like Coors Field. The Rockies are a different team at Coors, and the Giants have seen that and made that apparent. The Rockies have only won one game against the Giants this season away from Coors, so you can bet they're happy to be at Coors this time around.

But, the Giants are countering with their best starting pitchers. It will be an interesting showdown as Coors Field goes against the Giants' pitchers.

    BULLPEN: GIANTS
    Relievers: Tied
Cory Vance and Denny Stark have been doing well coming out of the bullpen for the Rockies, but Chin-hui Tsao has been struggling. The Giants bullpen is tired from a lot of relieving during their homestand, so with the day off, they will be refreshed and ready for the hitter friendly Coors Field.

    Closer: Giants
Justin Speier has been solid but has not had as great of a season as Tim Worrell has. Worrell earned his 27th save in this homestand.
