Pier 48 was bustling with activity and there was plenty to keep Giants fans of all ages entertained. From the batting cages to informational booths, the wide range of activities guaranteed a good time had by all. Fans surrounded the KNBR stage watching their favorite on-air personalities interview players and discuss the upcoming season. A silent auction was held featuring a Dusty Baker signed jersey and Edgardo Alfonzo's bat. Giants items were also sold by the Giants Dugout store and the Giants Community Fund.
Players and coaches were upon attendance, including Felipe Alou, Robb Nen, Scott Eyre, Jerome Williams, Jesse Foppert, Jason Christiansen, Chad Zerbe, Kevin Correia, and Matt Herges. Newcomers Brett Tomko, Dustan Mohr, and A. J. Pierzynski also joined in the festivities. Many fans got in long lines in hopes to get an autograph from the new and returning Giants.
Tickets for the 2004 season were also being sold during Fan Fest, as well as online and at the Giants Dugout stores all over the Bay Area. About 2.4 million tickets have already been sold.
