Another comeback fell short, and another tough loss for the Grizzlies. The Beavers jumped out to a 3-1 lead off of starter Jesse Foppert, after a leadoff walk followed by three straight 2 out singles. The Grizzlies scored 2 in the 6th to tie it, but Armando Almanza gave up a 2 run homer in the top of the 7th to give the lead right back. The Grizzlies had the bases loaded with nobody out in the 8th, but Mike Cervenak grounded into a double play that drove in one run, and Julio Ramirez hit a ground out to kill the rally.

For the second day in a row, the Navigators lost a pitcher duel to New Hampshire, 1-0. Fisher Cats starter Joshua Banks held Norwich to 3 hits in 7 innings, and the bullpen for New Hampshire gave up no more baserunners. Meanwhile, James Garcia gave up the games only run in the 4th, after giving up a 2 out double, a walk, and then a single that scored the run. Erick Threets came in to finish the inning. Threets gave up 1 hits in 2.2 innings, and Anthony Pannone pitched the final 1.2 innings without allowing any more hits. Fred Lewis got one of Norwichs three hits, a double in the 6th after a single by Tim Hutting, but Hutting was thrown out at the plate.

The JetHawks pounded San Jose starter Garrett Broshuis for 11 hits and 8 runs in 4.1 innings, and the Giant offense was unable to keep up in the loss. Broshuis gave up 2 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings, 1 in the 4th and 3 in the 5th. Offensively, the Giants scored all their runs on home runs. Michael Wagner hit his first of the season in the 2nd with 2 men on base, and Eliezer Alfonzo hit his second with 1 on in the 8th.

The story was Jonathan Sanchez with his second scoreless start, but this time the ending was different as he picked up the win. Sanchez went 6.2 innings, giving up 3 hits and no walks with 4 strikeouts. Offensively, Sanchez got plenty of support. Brian Horwitz went 3 for 4, scoring a run and knocking in another. Meanwhile, Carlos Sosa got 3 RBIs despite going 1 for 5. Sosa knocked in Alex Requena (who stole third) on a ground out in the 3rd, and got another RBI on a groundout in the 5th. He got an RBI on an actual hit, a single to center, in the 7th. The Green Jackets also stole 5 bases, with Alex Requena stealing 3.
