Game Recap:
Matt Cain had a solid start, but a collection of 4 pitchers for Iowa outpitched Cain to defeat Iowa. Cain gave up 2 runs, 1 earned, in 6 innings of work. The unearned run came as a result of Cain’s throwing error in the third, his first of the year. Al Levine made his return from a neck injury, giving up 1 hit in 2 inning of work. Todd Linden continued his return from a slump as he went 1-3 with a double and a walk.

Game Recap:
Mike Musgrave gave up 4 runs in 6.1 innings to take the loss. Marcus Sanders was one of the producers on the offense, going 2 for 5 with a run scored, but he also suffered an error while missing a catch.
