With a day left in the Northwest Season, Adam Witter took the time to stake a claim to the Northwest League Home Run title, tying Boise's Russell Canzler for the league lead with 16. The solo shot in the 8th inning was part of a 2 run inning that sealed this win for the Volcanoes. Pucetas had another strong start, with one run coming unearned as a result of his own error in the 6th on a bunt.

Notes: Salem-Keizer is 54-21, and has already set a franchise record for wins in a season.
