HWB - Waikiki Beach Boys
Oct.22nd: Waikiki 4, North Shore 0
Is Schierholtz's fall league slump over? After a rough week, Schierholtz came up with two extra base hits in four at bats, including his first home run of the winter, a solo shot to lead off the 4th inning. Schierholtz's average still sits at .182, but it wouldn't take much for it to rise.
Meanwhile, Mark Minicozzi had his third double of the year and was on base three times as Waikiki beat the Honu, bringing both teams to .500 and sitting 1 game behind the league best West Oahu CaneFires at 8-6. Minicozzi's .282 batting average is 7th best in HWB. Minicozzi's .417 OBP is 2nd best, and .513 SLG is league best among qualified hitters.

2B Kevin Frandsen - 1-4, 1 R, 1 SB (5), 1 HBP, .345
RP Pat Misch - 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 SO, 5.40

RP Billy Sadler - 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 SO, 0.00
Kevin Frandsen continues rolling along, picking up his 5th stolen base, good for a tie for 2nd most in the fall. He also picked up his first HBP of the fall, keeping up with his mini-tradition.
The pitchers all put together solid games. Misch came in in the 5th, and gave up a one out double and walk. Hedrick's 7th inning saw one out and two out singles, but nothing scored. Sadler pitched the ninth, giving up a one out single followed by a walk, and uncharacteristically didn't get a strikeout.
