Bonds returns after all

After all the commotion about where Bonds will end up in 2007, the Winter Meetings finished with him inking with the Giants.

There will not be a trading for Manny Ramirez, or for any other elite outfielder for that matter. At least not for 2007.

The Giants ended their busy Winter Meeting by bringing back their long-time slugger, Barry Bonds. Bonds signed a one-year, $16 million deal with the Giants.

This means Bonds will be chasing Hank Aaron's record in San Francisco. There is also a possibility Bonds will be able to appear in the All-Star Game at his home field in 2007.
