Lines of the day:
3B Kevin Frandsen - 1-4, 1 R, 1 HR (1), 1 RBI, 1 SO
1B Scott McClain - 1-2, 1 R, 1 HR (2), 1 RBI, 2 BB
RF Dan Ortmeier - 1-4, 1 R, 1 HR (2), 1 RBI, 1 SO
SP Travis Blackley - 6.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO, 1 HBP
RP Pat Misch - 0.2 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, BS (1), L (1-1)
RP Scott Munter - 0.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 SO
RP Brian Wilson - 0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 SO
Pat Misch uncharacteristically looked poor in Fresno's 5th loss of the season. With Fresno up 3-0 in the 7th, starter Blackley gave up two hits and left hitters at the corners for Misch with no one out. Misch immeadiately gave up a double, a walk, and could only get two outs while giving up two credited to Blackley and two more to himself.
The Grizzlies had some power showing in Portland, with Frandsen, McClain and Ortmeier each hitting solo home runs. Blackley had a solid outing, and obviously wasn't healped by Misch's relief stint. Munter and Wilson looked solid, although Wilson's control problems obviously still linger.
Connecticut Defenders: Game Postponed

San Jose Giants: No Game Scheduled
After getting swept in a doubleheader on Sunday, San Jose gets a day off. The season resumes on Tuesday in San Jose as the Modesto Nuts come to town.
Lines of the day:
CF Mike McBryde - 3-3, 4 R, 1 BB, 1 SB (4)
SS Brian Bocock - 2-5, 1 RBI
1B Matt Weston - 3-5, 2 R, 1 2B (2), 1 HR (1), 2 RBI
LF Tyler Graham - 1-5, 1 R, 1 SB (10)
3B Ryan Rohlinger - 2-4, 2 R, 2 2B (4)
C Nestor Rojas - 2-4, 2 R, 1 2B (1)
Augusta rolled its way to 12-0, despite having their 25 inning scoreless streak broken in the first inning and giving up as many runs than in their last seven games combined. Augusta fell behind 4-0 early, but came back with seven runs in the 6th and 7th innings, powered by Weston's three run home run in the 7th.
Augusta's offense, which had not been overpowering in previous games, came through big tim in this game. Weston and Rohlinger finally began to display the power that have been lacking early in the season. Graham became the second player on the GreenJackets to steal at least ten bases; no one else in the South Atlantic League has reached double digits. The eighth and ninth hitters in the lineup, Joey Dyche and Sharlon Schoop, each had four RBI.
