Prospect Heat Rankings | April 27

Lincecum threw a no-hitter but gave up a run and nearly doubled his season walk total. Is it enough to knock him from the top spot? Plus, he wasn't the only pitcher to double his walk total this week. And a long-absent hitter rejoins the rankings!

Name (Previous Rank)
1 Tim Lincecum (1) He allowed a run without allowing a hit, but more than doubling his walk total on the season in one start is a bit troubling... but not too much.
2 Adam Cowart (3) Then again, Cowart also doubled his walk total in his fifth start of the year. He walked his second batter of the year.
3 Kevin Frandsen (4) Frandsen remains one of Fresno's hottest hitters, and inside talk about his return to the majors is heating up.
4 Dan Ortmeier (5) Ortmeier has been outshined at times, but he's been consistent in all areas so far.
5 Brian Bocock (NR) Bocock fell off the list after going hitless in four games, but he's back to hitting and stealing bases like no other.
6 Antoan Richardson (6) Richardson hasn't been as hot as he was last week, but his emergence couldn't have come at a better time for San Jose.
7 Ben Snyder (9) He's not as flashy as others, but he's been spectacular for Augusta this spring.
8 Eddy Martinez-Esteve (NR) Martinez-Esteve started off slow, but he has been continually heating up this season, including amassing nine hits in a five-game hitting streak this week.
9 Kevin Pucetas (NR) Pucetas has been yet another part of Augusta's dominant pitching, and shouldn't be overlooked. He has less walks than Cowart right now!
10 Nate Schierholtz (8) Schierholtz has started to heat back up recently, but he's getting stronger competition right now in the list.
