Should be walking more if the Indians realize that a high fastball at 90 MPH is still HIGH...sigh. Amazing how this team gets out of sorts with 90 MPH fastballs. Brantley sends one to the track in dead center, and Santana ropes a pitch that Davis snags at 1B to squander a lead-off walk by Kipnis.
He has really turned it on. IT is nice to see, hope he can keep it up throughout the year. Managerial blunders abound, first, if you are Showalter, after Tillman falls behind 3-1, why do you just not walk Kipnis and set up the GIDP with a struggling Swisher?
And in Detroit-LAA, Hunter gets a one out single, and WIlson throws a pick-off attempt away and then WPes Hunter to third, and instead of just walking Cabrera, which they probably should have done after Hunter got to second, CJ Wilson, a LHP gives up the 2 run homer to Cabrera. INSTEAD OF JUST FACING THE GIDP MACHINE LHH FIELDER. And poof goes the 1-0 lead of the Angels. #@%!@#!%@! Masterson having some issues...looks like the shutout is going down.
