"I actually got offered today by Central Michigan," he said. "I'm very honored. I love central. I have family there. I'm interested in going there, but not ready to make a commitment yet."
Ervin went up to Mount Pleasant as a recruit earlier this season and says he has nothing but good things to say about the Chippewas.
"I was up there for the Massachusetts game. I loved it. It seemed like they were intense, but very easy to approach and like I their facilities and they work very hard."
At this time, Ervin says he is not yet hearing from any other programs, but that should change once more find out about him and what he accomplished last Fall, his first with the varsity.
"It was my first year. We are kind of a run oriented offense and it took awhile to get used to that, but once I really learned to block, I picked it up fast and I had lots of fun towards the end of the year. I'm looking forward to the future. I think we will be a lot better year next year."
Ervin had 17 receptions for 231 yards and two touchdowns this season and two additional scores got called back due to penalties.
