Bates to Toledo, Mallory to Cincinnati and Jurkovic to Nebraska

Three more Indiana Prep stars recently made verbal commitments.

FW Snider DB Jesse Bates picked the Toledo Rockets over an offer from Ball State. Last season Bates had 35 tackles and 6 interceptions for the Panthers.

A pair of former Indiana preps who relocated to IMG Academy in Florida also made their collegiate choices.

Former SB St Joe OL Mirko Jurkovic picked the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He is the son of former ND lineman of the same name.

OL Evan Mallory recently left the Midwest to attend IMG in Florida. Next season he will making the trek back north as he has pledged to the Cincinnati Bearcats.

We expect a handful of other Indiana Preps to announce their decisions soon as well. Some names you may hear are:

Mykelti Williams DB Warren Central

Asmar Bilal LB Ben Davis

Justin Tranquill DB Carroll

Quentin Moon LB Pike

Levante Bellamy RB Brebeuf

Isaac James ATH Carmel

Adonis Williamson DB Tech
Hopefully many other Indiana Preps stars also gain late summer offers. Hard to believe official practice starts on Monday.
