Series Preview 4/3-4/5: Cleveland Indians vs. Texas Rangers

Opening Day is here as the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers get set for a three-game series ranging from April 3-5 at Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington, Texas.


The Cleveland Indians (0-0) and Texas Rangers (0-0) will meet for the fourth time on Opening Day in their history. Currently under the direction of Jeff Banister, the Rangers have won all three Game 1 meetings against the Tribe. Most recently, Texas won the first contest of 2012 by a score of 4-2. Cleveland lost eight of its 12 games in the 2016 season series between the two clubs.
