Series Preview 4/21-4/23: Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago White Sox

Manager Terry Francona and the Indians will play at the newly named Guaranteed Rate Field for the first time this weekend in hopes to sustain their strong start to a six-game road trip.

The Cleveland Indians (8-7) and Chicago White Sox (7-7) open a three-game series as part of a tight AL Central race where all five teams are within one game of each other. The Tribe lost two out of three contests to their divisional foe from 4/11-4/13 before recently going on a three-game winning streak over the past four days. Headlining the weekend set is the 2017 debut of 2B Jason Kipnis (right shoulder inflammation) and the return of 3B Todd Frazier (illness) from a four-game absence. Both clubs are 5-4 in divisional battles this season.
