Austin Jackson Continues Rehab in Columbus

Austin Jackson got one step closer to being reactivated with his third rehab game for Columbus on Tuesday night. The IBI's Matthew Fout catches up with the veteran outfielder after the game to discuss his performance and his rehab progression.

Austin Jackson made his third rehab appearance Tuesday in Columbus going 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. The 30-year-old has been out since May 2nd with a hyperextended big left toe. He is now 4-for-10 in his time with the Clippers with a home run and a RBI.

He batted second Tuesday night while wearing his Cleveland Indians batting helmet. Jackson hit a double in his first at-bat and would later come around to score in what was a five-run first inning for Columbus. In his 12 games with the Indians prior to his injury he was hitting .273 with a home run and 2 RBIs.
