Smoke Signals - Farm Report 2.18: Three Shutouts and a Bobby

"Shawn Morimando" and "shutouts" have been said in the same breath quite a bit lately as have "Bobby Bradley" and "complete hitter". Jake and Corey explore the leaps each have taken in their development over just the last several weeks and more on a special Independence Day edition of the Farm Report podcast.

"Farm Report" is a weekly prospect analysis podcast hosted by Jake Dungan and Corey Crisan as they discuss all the latest news and notes regarding the Indians' farm system.

With Bradley Zimmer now having graduated to the major league level, attentions have been turned to who is the next big time Indians prospect. The obvious answer is RubberDucks catcher Francisco Mejia, but Bobby Bradley is not too far behind, especially with his play of late, which has included him cutting down significantly on his strikeouts, making more consistent contact and hitting the ball to all fields. Also, Shawn Morimando is on a mission to make sure no one forgets about him as his name has now become synonymous with shutouts recently. Jake and Corey are back to talk about these two impressive performances of late as well as how the Indians' overall prospect depth has improved in 2017.

Topics discussed:

-  Shawn Morimando dominating in Columbus.

-  Indians starting pitching depth bulking up in 2017.

-  Bobby Bradley becoming a better all-around hitter.

-  Reveal the Player of the Week.

-  Make predictions for next week's Player of the Week.

-  Final Thoughts.
