Is there a good "car finder" (as in, finding your car in a big mall parking lot) app for IOS that any of you like to use? Had one that was great for my old droid, but haven't found a good one for my iPhone since I switched.
I like the apps that offer deals, like foursquare, groupon, living social. I also like yelp for FINDING nearby places. Fandango and the AMC app help give you movie showtimes and even purchase tickets in advance (link it with an AMC stubs card and don't pay the fee). Pandora for all my music needs. Flashlight app is good, obviously it uses battery but it's not like I'm a mall cop, I only use it in a pinch. Love the Chase App. For the past 3-4 years I've only ever had to set foot in a bank to deposit a physical check that some douche had given me (seriously people? it's the 21st century), but now the app lets you just photograph the pic and deposit it. I actually also have this parking app from DC that's pretty cool. You don't have to find the municipal meter and use quarters anymore, you can just pay online for street metered parking. Also have MapMyRide to help keep track of my bike rides, and Zombies, Run for jogs (this one costs 8 bucks but it's great. it basically lets you play your own music in the back ground but cuts in with a zombies attacking storyline. Then you have to run faster to get away from them or they "catch" you).
ParkMobile is the greatest app ever. But, yeah, shhagg, it's probably not offered in most cities. It revolutionized parking in DC. You park on the street, log in the corresponding code for that street, and then pay for a period of time with a saved credit card. When you are at the bar/restaurant/store, it alerts you when time is running low. You then push 1 button to extend the time a little longer. Even in 1/2/4 hr parking limit zones, Im pretty sure you can get away with just letting the time expire and then re-upping. It probably doesnt matter as much in cities like NY because you guys dont really ever drive, but DC is still a big driving city, even for going out on weekends. It's great when you have kids too, because you obviously dont want to have to drag them all the way back to the car just to dump another quarter in the meter.
