Terry Collins Pregame Interview: Game 4

The Mets manager discussed an offensive powered Game 3 and how his team can come out with a win in Game 4.

Terry Collins met with the media on Saturday to discuss a strong outing from Noah Syndergaard and supported his decision to pitch inside to Alcides Escobar to start the game. The baseball-lifer came to the defense of the powerful starting pitcher and hinted that baseball isn't a game for the faint of heart.

"We play a dangerous game and once in a while you have to take a stand," stated Collins.

The Amazin's skipper is confident in Long Island Native Steven Matz and thinks the rookie can help keep Kansas City's bats at bay.
