Terry Collins Game 5 Postgame reaction

Mets manager Terry Collins spoke with reporters following the team's loss in Game 5 of the World Series.

Terry Collins met with reporters to discuss his decision to leave Matt Harvey in the game in the ninth inning and why that choice will haunt him all winter. New York's skipper reflected on the Amazin's accomplishments this year despite falling short of baseball's ultimate prize.

The Mets blew another late lead as they gave up two runs in the ninth and five runs in the twelfth to allow Kansas City to take the crown.

Closer Jeurys Familia blew his third save of the World Series, but Collins indicated that he went with his heart, not his gut when he stuck with Harvey to start the final inning.

The Mets fell to the Royals in five games and drop 2-3 all-time in the World Series.
