The New York Mets announced today that the team has exercised the 2017 club options for both outfielder Jay Bruce and infielder Jose Reyes but not for left-handed pitcher Jonathon Niese. Right-handed pitcher Jim Henderson and infielder Eric Campbell were both removed from the 40-man roster, with Henderson electing free agency while Campbell was outrighted to the team’s AAA affiliate, the Las Vegas 51’s.null
