Mets, Banco Popular launch bus program

The New York Mets and Banco Popular are proud to announce that for 10 select home games at Shea Stadium, the Mets will provide round-trip bus transportation for fans from two Banco Popular branch locations.

This exciting new community-based program will kick off on Thursday, July 14th for the Braves-Mets 7:10 p.m. ballgame. Mr. Met will be on hand to greet fans as they board the bus. The two pick-up sites will be Banco Popular branches located at: 615 West 181 Street in Washington Heights and 1046 Southern Boulevard in the Bronx. Additional sites maybe added/changed for future dates.

Two buses will leave each location starting at 5:00 p.m. and take local community group members to Shea to watch the "New" Mets. The buses will bring the groups back to the Banco Popular branches after the game. Mets game tickets will be distributed to group members courtesy of Banco Popular prior to bus departure. Fans will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
