Milledge off to solid AFL start

Lastings Milledge has been a bright spot through the first three Arizona Fall League games, crushing a game-winning home run and hitting .429 for the Grand Canyon Rafters.

The Mets' top prospect, Milledge – a centerfielder with above-average speed - hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning on Friday, lifting Grand Canyon to its first victory of the season. He has six hits (including two doubles) in 14 at-bats entering Sunday's action.

New York has sent five other players to Grand Canyon, managed by Norfolk Tides skipper Ken Oberkfell. A brief update on their performances through three games:
