Nationals Prospect Power Rankings - 4/25

Here are the top 20 performances by the Nationals' prospects in the long season leagues. This is our second of a weekly series here on that will track the top performers in the Washington farm system throughout the season. Now, let's take a look at this week's list.

Note: This list is not about who are the better players or prospects, but rather who is doing the best and making the most of their opportunities.

5 Kory Casto COL Responding well to his demotion, Casto is hitting .308 with 2 HR in his first 7 games with Columbus. NR
6 Marvin Lowrance POT Hitting .346 with 3 HR in his last 7 games, Lowrance raised his season totals to .302, 4 HR, 11 RBI. NR
7 Craig Stammen POT Stammen ran into his first rough start of the season on April 24th, but remains 2-0 with a solid 3.43 ERA in 21 innings of work. 6
8 Dee Brown POT He's hitting an incredible .591 in his last 5 games with 5 doubles and 5 RBI.  He's now hitting an even .400 for the year. 8
9 John Lannan POT Hit his first bump in the road this week, getting lit up for 6 ER in 5 IP.  Overall numbers are still excellent as he's 3-0 with a 2.67 ERA. 3
10 Mike Hinckley HBG Continued to pitch well in a bounce back season, tossing 6 innings of 1 hit, shutout ball in his most recent outing, lowering his ERA to 2.45. NR
11 Brandon Powell POT Powell has caught fire over the last 10 games, hitting .353 with 4 HR and 9 RBI. NR
12 Emiliano Fruto COL Carries a strong 2.25 ERA into the last week of April, but his walk total of 11 in 16 innings is far too high at this point. 2
13 Clint Everts POT Everts also has too many walks (10 in 16 IP) but has managed to be effective, compiling a 2.81 ERA in 3 starts. 10
14 Adam Carr POT Has surrendered just 1 earned run in 6 appearances and has racked up 9 strikeouts and 2 saves.  He too needs to cut the walks down, as he's walked at least 1 in each of his games. 11
15 Rogearvin Bernadina HBG "Bernie" has been hot in his last 10 games after a slow start, and is hitting .333 with 6 stolen bases in that span. 14
16 Leonard Davis HAG Had his 5 game hitting streak snapped this week, but is still batting .298 with 2 HR and 10 RBI. 7
17 Luke Montz POT He's becoming a complete hitter this season, hitting .286 thus far with 5 doubles and 1 HR as well as a .524 slugging percentage. NR

20 Brett McMillan HAG He's batting just .212 in his last 10 games, but his production for the season is still strong.  He has 3 HR, 5 doubles and 8 RBI. 1
