According to an article I just read online, Nolans rehab window is up today. Means the O's have three choices.
1. Bring him up to the big club.
2. Bring him up and put him through waivers so they can send him back down. The article said this is unlikely because he won't make it through waivers.
3. Outright release him
I think they will bring him up on the 25 man but not sure how they are going to do that. Who goes down, Lough? Really the only two guys Nolan can replace are Lough (which fits because they are both outfielders although now you take the ONLY base running threat off the team) and Flaherty (which doesn't fit because we'd lose our backup infielder).
So what do you guys think? I would like to see option #4 to package him with some minor league pitcher to get us a leadoff guy. But until Reimold plays and hits some at the ML level I am not sure you could get much value for him.
