Last night the game ended with Guzman being tagged out at the plate to end the game. Today the game ended with Hunter not being able to throw out the runner to end the game. Perdomo gives up 2 in the bottom of the 9th as the T-Pads fall again 2-3
Jon Leicester threw another great start that was ruined by the pen. Leicester went 7 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 3 K. His ERA dropped to 2.67. Flores threw a 1,2,3 8th inning before Perdomo gave the final 2 runs in the 9th.

Kelly allowed only 4 baserunners over 6 innings and Darnell homered as the Missions win again 5-2
Casey Kelly improved to 3-0 on the season, going 6 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K. While his 3 K was his lowest total in a month, the 2 hits were his lowest of the year. Kelly was constantly pitching ahead and threw only 72 pitches (50 strikes) in 6 IP. Brach earned his 9th save of the year striking out 2.
It was nice to see the middle of the lineup once again produce. Jaff went 2-4, Blanks had 2 doubles, going 2-3, 2 RBI, RS Darnell blasted his 5th HR of the year, a solo shot, in the 6th inning. He also had a multi hit game going 2-3, HR, BB. Darnell raised his average back up to .374. Casey Kelly also had a great day offensively going 2-2

Adys Portillo is sadly still the Adys Portillo that we have seen for the past 2 years. So much potential but still not much to show for it. Portillo gave up runs, Tin Caps didn't score runs, and the Tin Caps lost 7-2
Portillo was actually solid through the first 4 innings, allowing only an unearned run. The 5th however was a different story. Portillo would pitch to the first 4 batters before being removed. Mull then came in and allowed all runners to score. On the day Portillo went 4+ innings, 5 H, 5 R,4 ER, 3 BB, 2 K. The unearned run also scored thanks to Portillo's own error.
Offensively, there were 0 extra base hits, 0 multi hit games, and well just another all around bad game. Cunningham went 1-3, BB, RBI. Guinn walked twice and score once, and that's about it.
