Padres Draft Tracker
The Padres started the draft with a pair of high school arms, taking Harvard-Westlake lefty Max Fried at number seven overall, and then Florida righty Zach Eflin. As compensation for losing Aaron Harang to the Dodgers, the club selected speedy outfielder Travis Jankowski before going back to the high school pitching ranks for Florida righty Walter Weickel.
