Prospect Watch: The T-Padres were stymied by Storm Chasers pitcher Chris Dwyer who allowed one run in eight innings of work. No Padre managed to get more than one hit off the lefthander… Yasmani Grandal has now hit safely in every game since joining the T-Pads. He is able to come off the restricted list on May 28th.

Arkansas Travelers 0 - San Antonio Missions 1

Key Statistics RHP Matt Wisler 7 IP, 7 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K (W, 2-1); SS Jeudy Valdez 3-3, 2B; RHP Kevin Quackenbush 1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB (S, 8).

Prospect Watch: Matt Wisler had by far his most dominant outing since his promotion to Double-A as he pitched seven shutout innings. His previous best had come in his first start for the Missions when he allowed two runs over five innings. While Wisler did not allow allow a run, he benefited from two great plays by Rico Noel and Everett Williams, who turned potential run-scoring hits into outs.

The Storm game was suspended in the top of the seventh.

The Storm game was suspended after a bomb threat was called in to the stadium. No device was found and the game will be resumed on Saturday evening prior to the regularly-scheduled matchup. ... Before the interruption, Matt Jackson was working on his best performance of the season. In 6.1 innings, the righty had allowed only three hits and had five strikeouts.

Key Statistics RHP Zach Eflin 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 K; Michael Kelly 2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K.

Prospect Watch: The TinCaps went a combined 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position as they were blanked in both games. In the early game, Justin Hancock had his second shortest outing of the year, lasting only 4.2 innings. It was also the first start of the year that he failed to strike out a batter.. In the latter game Eflin had one of his best starts even though he was saddled with the loss. However, Michael Kelly stole the show blowing away nearly every batter he faced, allowing only two scratch singles in his two innings. After allowing 12 runs in 14 innings last year with 18 walks and 14 strikeouts, Kelly has gone five innings this year without allowing a run, 1 walk and eight strikeouts.
