Texas 7v7: Daniel Gresham

LEANDER, Texas-- It was just three weeks ago that 2014 Fort Worth All Saints running back Daniel Gresham decided to return his talents home to Louisville, pledging verbal commitment to Coach Charlie Strong and the Cardinals. He and his Saints were in action at the Texas State 7v7 Tournament over the weekend where Gresham took time out to delve into the decision, and what's to come… (VIDEO)

Charlie Strong and the strides the football program has made under him, along with how they plan on utilizing Gresham in the backfield all played largely into Gresham's decision.

Speaking of the backfield, Louisville will have a 460-pound one just in the 2014 class with the fellow commitment of Marion (Ohio) Harding running back L.J. Scott. The two look to be a deadly pair in a year or two.

With Scott, Gresham has also already built close ties with his 2014 quarterback Reggie Bonnafon and receivers Desean Blair and George Rushing, and incoming freshman wideout James Quick.

The 5-foot-10, 235-pound Gresham, rated the No. 2 fullback in the Class of 2014, was born in Louisville and went to school in Louisville until he moved to Texas with his family at age 12. He would like to graduate early and return home by spring, but cannot under All Saints graduation regulations. Nonetheless, he declares he is "100 percent" to the Cards and looks forward to making an immediate impact...
