No game for the T-Pads

San Antonio Missions 3 – Arkansas Travelers 1

Key Statistics RHP Eddie Bonine 7.2 IP, 3 H, ER, BB, 0 K; CF Rico Noel 2-3, RS; DH Everett Williams 2-2, BB, SB (10).

Prospect Watch: C/1B Robert Kral played in his first game in two weeks for the Missions. He was at first base and and went 0-3, with a walk. The 24 year old hasn't had the same success yet in AA as he did in High A, but its hard to judge a player when he has appeared in eight games in the past month. Kral's 14 home runs this season still rank in the top five in the system.

Key Statistics LHP Frank Garces 5 IP, 5 H, ER, 3 BB, 6 K; SS Jace Peterson 1-3, HR (7), 2 RBI, BB, SB (35).

Prospect Watch: After missing 9 games Jace Peterson returned for his second straight game. What he did was steal his first base in three weeks and hit his first home run in three weeks. Jace Peterson leads all shortstops in the system with 35 stolen bases and has only struck out 53 times in 103 games.
