Prospect Watch: A six-run sixth inning that featured a pair of home runs by the 51s sent El Paso down for their fifth loss in six games...Not a bad outing by Sampson but he also needed 89 pitches to get through four innings...first start of the season for Cody Decker at third base and second appearance at the hot corner...Las Vegas 51's first baseman, Allan Dykstra, the former first round pick of the Padres in 2008, was 1-4 today with a home run, walk and a pair of RBI. Dykstra is now hitting .389/.542/.722 with more walks (12) than strikeouts (11) and eight extra-base hits in 14 games. The pitcher that the Padres traded him for pitcher Eddie Kunz, a first round pick by the Mets in 2007, was with San Antonio in 2012 and Tucson in 2013. Kunz is now out of baseball.

Prospect Watch: San Antonio had the lead in the top of the eleventh but closer Johnny Barbato gave up the tying run in the bottom of the inning and in the next the Rockhounds hit a walk-off home run with two outs...Wisler had his worst outing of the season but still has very good numbers after four starts this season with 20 strikeouts against five walks in 18 innings this year...Hedges saw his batting average rise from .209 to .271 and nearly was the hero of the game with an RBI single in the eleventh...Barbato's ERA ballooned from 1.93 to 4.91 on one bad outing. Worse he nearly got out of both innings with the damage being done with two outs each time. The life of a closer.
