Prospect Watch Welcome back Hunter Renfroe, after missing eight games with the flu, Renfroe came off the bench today. Not only did he walk in his first at-bat, but later homered for the first time since June 19th. Hopefully the nine days off did him some good and his .135/.220/.243 line in AA goes up.
Storm 0 – Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 3
Prospect Watch There is a difference between being fast and being greedy. Smith led off the game with a double, and before the next batter could try to get him over or in he took off for third. He was thrown out, and that was pretty much the game for the Storm. Smith later singled with two outs and this time stole both second and third, but was stranded.
