Missions 4 – Frisco RoughRiders 6
Prospect Watch One day after being removed from the game for not hustling, Hunter Renfroe didn’t have to worry about that today as he only put the ball in play once in four at-bats. … After allowing four runs and walking three in his first outing in Double-A, Casey Kelly has allowed only two hits over his last five outings. In his last three one-inning outings, he has given up one hit and one walk, while striking out five. He will likely begin to stretch out to multi-inning assignments in a week or two.

Storm 4 – Inland Empire 66ers 5
Prospect Watch: Kyle Lloyd finally got a chance to start for the Storm! After being Fort Wayne’s best starter last year, he was told he wasn’t good enough to be a starter this year. He looked great early on, tossing four no-hit innings. But Lloyd tired, and tired fast. He allowed the cycle in the fifth (single, HR, double triple) before he was removed from the game… With three runs scored, Auston Bousfield is now in the top 10 in the league with 15 runs in 18 games. His .393 OBP is also top 10 in the league.

Fort Wayne Tin Caps 1 – Dayton Dragons 9
Prospect Watch Most of us thought Walker Lockett would be the ace of a young TinCap staff. Unfortunately a month in, his 0-3 record with a 7.98 ERA tells a different story. Over his last three starts, Lockett has averaged 3 innings worked and four earned runs allowed. … Franchy Cordero came one out away from making it through the game without an error. He even made a great decision after getting to a ball deep in the hole when he didn't try to make a crazy throw and throw it away. But with two outs in the ninth, Cordero made his 13th error.
