Prospect Watch: This was your stereotypical PCL game, as the teams combined for 19 runs on 24 hits…RHP Bryce Morrow, 27, had his second consecutive rough outing. Morrow allowed two runs and eight hits in his two innings of work. Morrow has pitched just five innings in his last two starts, allowing seven earned runs… El Paso got a huge performance from Poway High alum Alex Dickerson. The outfielder/first base had two hits, including his third homer of the year, to go with four RBI. Dickerson, 24, is hitting .333/.389/.587, with a team-leading 16 RBI…RHP Shawn Kelley continued his rehab assignment, pitching two scoreless innings to get the win. Roster Note: With Hedges’ promotion to the Padres, catcher Robert Kral was moved to El Paso. Kral, 26, was hitting .189/.304/.324, with a homer and 4 RBIs in 12 games with Lake Elsinore.

Midland Rockhounds 5 – Missions 4
Key Statistics: CF Travis Jankowski, 2-for-5, 2 SB (13); SS Trea Turner, 2-for-5, BB; LF Yeison Asencio, 2-for-5, 2B; DH Alberth Martinez, 2-for-5; RHP Elliot Morris, 6 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K; RHP Dennis O’Grady (L, 0-1) 2 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, 2 K
Prospect Watch: The Missions lost in 11 innings, as reliever Dennis O’Grady allowed an RBI triple…RHP Elliot Morris turned in another solid outing as he held Midland scoreless for five innings. A Yeison Asencio error with two outs in the sixth led to the three unearned runs that were charged to Morris. Morris allowed just three hits in his six innings of work. Morris has a 2.05 ERA in five starts this season and opposing batters are hitting .196 off of the right-hander… CF Travis Jankowski had two more hits to go with a pair of stolen bases. Jankowski leads the Texas League with 13 steals, and has been caught only once. Jankowski is also in the top ten in hits, on-base percentage, batting average and walks.

Storm 5 – San Jose Giants 4
Prospect Watch: Second baseman Fernando Perez stayed hot, with a pair of hits to go with a couple of RBI. The left-handed swinging infielder has raised his batting average 50 points in the last week. He is 7-for-16, with a homer and 7 RBI in his last four games…The hard-throwing Rafael De Paula pitched well, before running into trouble in the sixth inning. He allowed three earned runs in five innings, striking out seven without allowing a walk. The Dominican-born righty has yet to work more than five innings in a start this season. He is sporting a 4.70 ERA through six games (five starts).
Dayton 5 – TinCaps 1
Prospect Watch: The TinCaps fell behind 5-0 after four innings, and never made much of a threat. The loss dropped the TinCaps to 7-15, the worst mark in the Midwest League. RHP Jimmy Brosoban moved into the rotation and struggled. The Dominican right-hander allowed five runs (four earned) in 3.2 innings of work...The only Tincaps run came courtesy of an RBI single from RF Nick Torres.
